**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable about automotive systems, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues with engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, electrical systems, and other critical components.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective parts, using hand tools, diagnostic tools, and specialized equipment.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle status and required repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Complete repair orders accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to safety standards and industry regulations.
- Document services and repairs performed for accurate customer records and warranty claims.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical program or automotive certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong understanding of automotive technology, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Proficiency with a range of diagnostic tools and automotive software.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
**Working Conditions:**
